Using the Internet is very easy. Most computers work the same and it is relatively easy to surf the web. The bar at the top of the screen is the most important. This is where you type your destination or URL. All you do is type the name of the website you wish to visit and hit enter and your off. Say you want to go to the google website.  All you do is type google.com in the header at the top of your screen.

There are arrows at the top left-hand corner that allow you to search back and forth through pages. For example, if you accidentally clicked a button and it brought you to another page, simply click the back arrow button and it will take you back to the page you were previously on. The button that is usually right next to the arrows is the refresh button. You use this when you want to refresh a page. Sometimes a page will freeze up and all you have to do is push this button.

There are so many different ways to use the Internet. Once you get the hang of it, there’s nothing you wont be able to do. Search engines, such as google, are probably the most useful sites. If you don’t know the name of a website, all you do is type what you are looking for in the google box and it will give you a list of places in your search.  For example, say you are looking to find a place to play online bingo.  You would just type in your search query and the search engine will give you a list of sites where you can play bingo online.

The Internet is your one-stop-shop for everything and anything.  You can find reputable resources for research, download movies, play games online and connect with friends.   The best part, it is extremely user friendly.
